2013 First Inner Mongolia Ironman Challenge

  September 22, 2013, was China's seventh Car-Free Day. To promote "World Car-Free Day" and advocate a "green, environmentally friendly, healthy, and sunny" lifestyle, the "2013 First Inner Mongolia Ironman Challenge," hosted by the Inner Mongolia Sports Federation and sponsored by BATTLE bicycles, was successfully held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. This event attracted professional and amateur athletes from across the country. The organizing committee also held a low-difficulty Ironman competition for the public group: 1km (running) + 8km (cycling) + 1km (running), increasing public participation and becoming a highlight of the event.

  Hohhot, the "Green City Beyond the Pass" of Inner Mongolia, has long been associated with heroic legends. The tenacious spirit and unique cultural characteristics of the Mongolian people have always attracted global attention. Holding a triathlon in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, undoubtedly finds the best synergy between sports, spirit, and nature. Located in the southwest of the capital, Hohhot Nanhu Wetland Park boasts beautiful and unique scenery, a strong ethnic atmosphere, and a combination of grassland landscapes, horse farms, and wetlands, reflecting Hohhot's unique urban character. Holding a triathlon here is undoubtedly the best interpretation of nature and humanity, showcasing the world's most distinctive ethnic colors, making it exceptionally meaningful.

  BATTLE company attached great importance to this competition, with Mr. Li Yinzhong, BATTLE's Northwest regional manager, attending in person. Members of the BATTLE Hohhot Iron Horse Club gathered in front of the Hohhot Zhongshan store in the morning to adjust their bicycles, preparing for the competition. Although daily cycling activities have become commonplace for cyclists, the triathlon set by the organizing committee presented a significant challenge for each cyclist. Spectators along the roadside cheered on the competitors.

  After fierce competition, the BATTLE team won third place in the team event and third place in the men's public group. BATTLE team results: Team event: 3rd place; Elite group: Yinbo, 6th place; Wang Weiqi, 9th place; Wang Ruiping, 10th place; Zhang Qi; Men's public group: Wang Herong, 3rd place; Wang Changhe, 8th place; Women's public group: Li Yaping, 4th place.
